RAMICA. Microbiological water analysis system

RAMICA. Microbiological water analysis system

November 2015

Jmp ingenieros is participating, along with several companies and Technologic Centers, in the development of a robotic tracking system for microbiological analysis of water quality, called RAMICA.

The prject is coordinated by the Submarine Investigation Center (CIS), and involved the Technological Center of the Sea (CETMAR), the Prodintec FoundationInDrops Laboratory and the University of Vigo.

An initiative based in develop a buoy that provide solutions to the autonomous system (solar powered) , wich will take water samples of differents depths toanalysis of microbiological parameters in situ. The device will be able for urban and industrial waste water, bathing water both continentals and maritims and monitoring water programmes.

All the analysis information will be receibed in real time, wich allows collect data and will facilitate the tacking of any decission under any eventuality.

The RAMICA project (doc number RTC - 2015 - 4192 - 2) is funded by MINECO (Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness), through the call Collaboration Challenges 2015
